Job Description

We are seeking experienced Class 1 Drivers with cross-border and flat deck experience. This union position involves operating a variety of specialized vehicles and handling overdimensional and heavy loads. Most of the work is within BC, AB, and WA, with home time available most weekends or for resets, although this is not guaranteed.

Requirements

Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
Satisfactory 5-Year Commercial Abstract
Experience in Flat Deck and Heavy Hauling
Mountain Driving Experience
Cross-Border Hauling Abilities
Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and road evaluation
Manual Transmission Operation: Must be able to operate an 18-speed manual transmission.

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay: $31/hr with an increase after 3 months for hourly work.
Mileage Pay: $0.70/mile minimum, with increases depending on equipment and loads hauled.
Bonuses: Safety/Performance bonuses available.
Overtime: Regular overtime work is available.
Benefits: Health benefits and pension plan after a 90-day probationary period.

Union: This is a union position under the Teamsters Union.
